Please allow us to impart some wisdom on the fine art of the lamb shank. Because you should be eating lamb at home, too. This recipe is dead simple and wonderfully delicious.
4 pcs. lamb shanks 3-4 sprigs rosemary 1 tbsp. garlic, minced 1 cup Spanish onion, sliced 1 can whole plum tomatoes 1 tbsp. sugar salt and pepper to taste
- Combine all ingredients in an oven proof dish and cover with aluminum foil.
- Place in a 325 degree oven for 1.5-2 hours until tender.
- Remove foil, turn heat up to 450 degrees and brown for 15 minutes.
- Serve with mashed potatoes, polenta or rice.
